Mina’s memory

It was in 2013, when I went to visit Iran for the third time.

The first day we arrived in the city of Esfehan, we started wandering around in the Bazar. A tiny old man suddenly came to us. He said that he could show us hidden parts of the Bazar so we followed him.

He took us to hidden workshops related to carpets, from the wool dying to the repairing wings.

It was amazing to see the backstage parts of the Bazar and the different steps of creating, selling and repairing carpets.

It was also a pleasure to follow the tiny old man and listen to his enthusiastic explanations.
